Prior Learning Credit gives 91视频 an opportunity to apply for college credit for specialized training, non-credit coursework, professional development, licensure/certifications and other types of nontraditional learning.

Course credit can be awarded when you can demonstrate that the knowledge gained through your learning experiences are comparable to the learning outcomes of a 91视频 course. Participants benefit from reduced time toward degree completion thereby saving money.

Types of Prior Learning Credit Opportunities:

Students are required to submit a Joint Services transcript, or Form DD295, DD214. Credits allowed will be based on recommendations of the American Council on Education (ACE) and National College Credit Recommendation Services (National CCRS, formerly National PONSI) and will correspond to subject areas offered at the University.

Stockton has partnered with Thomas Edison State University (TESU) where 91视频 can earn college credit for knowledge gained outside the classroom.

"Using the TESU portfolio assessment program, 91视频 demonstrate that what they already know is equivalent to what they would have learned in an equivalent college course. You may have acquired this knowledge through your past work, training programs or in-service courses, volunteer service, cultural or artistic pursuits, hobbies and recreational pastimes, community or religious activities, organizational memberships, adult education, noncredit courses, study abroad, military training not evaluated for credit by ACE or other experiences."

Stockton will accept TESU credit for prior learning assessments.
