Stockton鈥檚 CCLC hosts Experiential Learning Experiences with our Community-Based Partners to support K-12 educators as they develop and implement hands-on activities with their 91视频. These are available at no cost to K-12 public school teachers but pre-registration is required.

Virtual Classroom visits can also be scheduled so that your 91视频 can talk to individuals who are currently conducting work to support climate change and the environment.  For more information about these opportunities email climatelearning@stockton.edu

Save Barnegat Bay鈥檚 mission is to restore and protect Barnegat Bay and its ecosystem. We advance our mission by being a strong and independent voice for the Bay throughout the watershed. We do this through effective educational programs and targeted advocacy campaigns.

Experiential Learning Experiences available through Stockton鈥檚 CCLC include:

Sedge Island Overnight Experience - A fully immersive overnight event at the Sedge Island Natural Resource Education Center. Activities could include kayaking, clamming, eating food from the bay, presentations from local scientists, experts and more. Participants will get the chance to not only experience Barnegat Bay first-hand, but learn about resources for teaching climate change in the classroom and empowering 91视频 to do more for our environment with hands-on activities.

Using Local Ecosystems to Teach 91视频 Climate Change - Educators will experience best practices for Climate change Education, using local ecosystems in the classroom, teaching educators how to empower 91视频, and hand-on activities they can bring into the classroom.
